New Prosauropod

Hey guys. Sorry for the HUGE lack of updates. Decided the best way to get back on track would be the discovery of an amazing new dinosaur. A new prosauropod/basal sauropodomorph has been discovered in the Lower Elliot Formation in South Africa dating back to the Triassic. The paleontologists have determined that this dinosaur was bipedal. Not only that but, using the bones found, paleontologists have estimated that the prosauropod was around the size of Diplodocus carnegii. This is a huge discovery for sauropod evolution. This dinosaur is one of THE LARGEST bipedal animals to have ever existed. It majorly changes the way we see sauropod evolution. You can read more about this new discovery here: http://sauroposeidon.files.wordpress.com/2010/04/wedel-and-yates-2011-wavp-a-diplodocus-sized-bipedal-basal-sauropodomorph-from-south-africa.pdf .
